NISEI 2021 Continental Championships

The time is looming where players will battle to be crowned the Continental Champion of their region. Due to the ongoing worldwide effort to purge a virus, the 2021 Continentals will once again be held online, and split into three different events. As the events will feed into an Intercontinental Championship, you may only play in one of the three events. Please take that into consideration when buying your ticket.

All tickets are $15USD, and the format for the events will be Standard. Number of rounds and depth of the cut will depend on the number of players for each event. The events will use tiebreaker rounds at the end of the Swiss day to clean up the cut if needed.

Judge!

It’s not just players who make these events possible, but also volunteers helping out with judge calls, data dealing and streaming. If you are interested in helping out, please fill out this form, and as thanks for your time you will receive a playset of the Judge Reward promo, Climactic Showdown, illustrated by Olie Boldador:

Judge reward: Promo version of Climactic Showdown

Finally, we are very sad to announce that Akira, one of NISEI’s tireless Organized Play team members, will be stepping down from her position at NISEI. Want to take this opportunity to thank her for all the hard work, dedication and love she’s put into everything she’s done here. She will be very much missed.

This is all from us at the NISEI Organized Play team. If you have any questions, email us at op@nullsignal.games. We hope to see many of you at this year’s Championships, and are excited to see what decks will rise to the top this year!
