April 2021 Product Translation Update

A month ago, as spoiler season for System Gateway and System Update 2021 drew to a close, we announced that translated versions of both products were in progress, and we would update you when they became available.

Thanks to the hard work of our translation and layout teams, we’re happy to announce that these two sets are now available in four additional languages: German, Italian, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese!

In addition to following these links here, you can access these translations in two ways. First, from a product page, you can select a language from the dropdown menu in the top navigation bar. This option only appears for pages that have translations, and will only display existing translations.

A cursor hovers over the "translation" icon in this website's navigation bar. A dropdown menu containing four languages has appeared.

Second, you can look for the translation switcher within the product page. Like the dropdown menu, it displays the current page’s existing translations, and looks something like this:

The translation bar, consisting of a shaded section containing the names of multiple languages.

Our teams are still working on additional translations. French, Polish, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean are all underway and in varying stages of completion. We will announce via Twitter, Facebook, and NISEI.net as they become available in the coming weeks!

And, of course, if you’d like to assist with translation, we welcome your help! Please check out the Join NISEI page for more information on applying to become a volunteer translator.
